Computing environment
GAIA Reply™ is based on open standards
GAIA is designed to be compatible both with server and device technologies. Built on portable technologies such as Java and XML, all GAIA components can be easily adapted and extended to nearly any computing environment.
GAIA offers flexible deployment options
The application GAIA needs only a servlet engine, such as Apache Tomcat (industry standard application servers can be used, too), to be deployed on Windows, Unix, and Linux on Intel, PowerPC and SPARC processors.
GAIA flexible deployment options start from a single box environment and grow to a multi-tier clustered architecture.
The basic environment is the ideal solution to implement and deliver low-costs mobile services. For larger set of features, services and users, migration to layered environments is needed. In layered environments front-end systems interface mobile channels and back-end systems are dedicated to multimedia content and corporate applications integration. The adoption of a clustered environment is useful when requirements are strongly available.
The evolution from the basic option to the enterprise class option is a straightforward process thanks to an automated migration path and a proven methodology.
