GAIA Reply™ can interface heterogeneous data sources fetching and integrating the content

Detecting which type of network is requesting a multimedia content or a service, the framework is able to recognize the kind of device in use and to adapt multimedia contents.

Solutions

01. Lightweight Browsing Edition

The Lightweight Browsing Edition offers the functionalities to develop and execute mobile synchronous services through WAP and XHTML browsers. User interaction is based on the micro browser generally available on devices as mobile phones, smartphones and PDAs. Thanks to the Browsing Sync Edition features a Mobile Web rich experience can be developed and delivered, offering multimedia content and access to corporate applications as the Web does. Mobile services developed with GAIA can “live” stand alone or can be integrated into mobile operator portals.

02. Advanced Edition

The Advanced Edition has the same features of the Lightweight Browsing Edition plus specific functionalities to interact also with rich client applications (i.e., Java MIDlets, Symbian applications, Windows Mobile applications). Rich client applications enable to operate even with local data and without the strict requirements of constant connectivity because they support both online and offline interaction. Moreover, rich client applications offer a more sophisticated user experience, fully exploiting proprietary mobile platform functionalities.

03. Messaging Edition

The Messaging Edition offers all the necessary functionalities to implement mobile asynchronous services, through SMS, MMS and WAP Push notifications. Network operators, MVNOs and content providers can utilize the Messaging Edition to supply users with premium messaging services: GAIA can deliver both push and pull services with a high level throughput. Enterprises can benefit from the adoption of the Messaging Edition, too: it supports all the standard and legacy protocols to interface network operator systems. So enterprises can communicate with their customers or employees in a simple and intuitive way.

04. Full Features Edition

The Full Features Edition includes all the available functionalities (Lightweight Browsing Edition, Advanced Edition, Messaging Edition), but its value is greater than the simple sum of the benefits of each single edition: cross channel mobile services developed and delivered, the user can start the service interaction on a channel and seamlessly continue the session on another one.
